Form of workDr Philip Larkin's rooms are looking for an enthusiastic Medical Receptionist/Medical Typist to join our busy team. The successful applicant must have proven interpersonal skills,oraganisatonal skills, excellent customer service skills, a high level of computer skills and the ability to work under presure in a challenging and changing environment.
The role will include:
*a dministration duties
*administering of eye drops
*Testing Visual Acuity
*Performing OCT and Visual Field Testing.
* Typing of medical reports and correspondence.
Experience is not required and on the job training will be undertaken.
Start and finish times may be outside of normal business hours and will vary according to allocated shift. Some travel to other sites may be required.

* Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to communicate comfortably and effectively
* Demonstrated high level of computer skills
* Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work under pressure
* Attention to detail
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Flexible availability
Desirable Criteria:
* Previous experience with medical typing
* Previous experience within the medical industry
* Prior experience with billing and receipting of payments
