You will lead the diversity, equity and inclusion function within the supportive and engaged Strategy and Capability team. You will deliver high-impact innovative solutions that foster an organisational culture of belonging and cultural safety and capability.
What you will be doing:
• Leading the design, development, implementation and evaluation of the department's diversity, equity and inclusion strategy, programs and initiatives.
• Undertaking research, analysis and evaluation to support continuous improvement within the department to promote best practice and innovative solutions relating to diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Providing opportunities for our people to enhance their Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural capability and ensuring our workforce practices support the attraction, retention and development of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
• Providing comprehensive advice on Workforce Diversity, equity and inclusion matters.
• Leveraging workforce and engagement data to shape initiatives and influence stakeholders.
• Developing collaborative partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to align with both the departmental and government priorities.
• Managing projects, budgets, vendor relationships, and provider contracts in line with departmental procurement and purchasing guidelines.
• Preparing correspondence including briefing notes, submissions and reports relating to Workforce Diversity, equity and inclusion matters.
