We are looking for an enthusiastic Medico-legal Assistant to join our team in the Sydney office.
This permanent full-time position is suitable for someone who enjoys being a part of a team! The Role
The role of our Medico-legal Assistants is to provide support in the smooth and efficient workflow of the Cases & Advisory Services function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Claims & Advisory team in appropriately directing Member calls and requests for advice
- Reviewing and process incoming Member notifications and requests for assistance
- Utilising the current database to create new cases and manage and update case information
- Assisting Claims Managers to manage their cases and provide administrative support
- Coordinating file reviews and assist with reporting
- Financial processing and authorising payments
Skills & Experience
- Strong office administration skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience in managing a large database
- Sound computer literacy with high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Previous experience working within the medical or legal administrative field would be an advantage
