About the role:
Mineral Resources is looking to add to their onsite Asset Management teams and have an immediate requirement for MEM Supervisors at their Bald Hill & Mount Marion Lithium Operations. These will be fulltime positions and reporting directly to the MEM Superintendent. As our Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our onsite workshop, implementing systems & processes, and work on delivering continuous improvement initiatives. With your extensive expertise, you'll lead a skilled team of technicians, ensuring the safe and efficient utilisation of our facilities, tools, and equipment. Our organisation is committed to maintaining a strong safety culture, and your dedication to safety will be instrumental in guiding the team to achieve excellence.
Rosters indicated as per the below:
BaldHill: 8 days on / 6 days off / 7 Nights on /7 Days off
Mount Marion: 7 Days on / 7 Nights on / 14 Days off
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and rectify defects through effective maintenance activities to ensure optimal functioning of mobile equipment.
- Provide leadership and support to the team, ensuring work is delivered according to project schedules and within budget.
- Monitor and evaluate the skills and performance of workers, providing necessary training, mentoring, and coaching.
- Develop and administer maintenance plans using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for improved efficiency.
- Review maintenance plans and reports to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and adjust the scope of work responsibilities as needed.
- Contribute to the development of maintenance systems, standards, processes, and procedures for standardised work management.
- Plan and coordinate weekly and daily mobile maintenance activities, addressing technical and logistical challenges to maintain smooth operations.
What you’ll bring to the team
- Relevant trade qualification coupled with significant hands-on management experience
- Experience leading a high-performing maintenance team within an operational mining environment
- High degree of computer literacy including the use of Microsoft Excel and database management systems
- Significant demonstrated leadership which supports a high-performance culture
- Strong experience in mobile equipment maintenance and development of equipment performance strategies
- A strong commitment to safety and experience building positive safety cultures within teams
- You will have your Section 26 or in the process of obtaining
