Join Central West as a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Suicide Prevention and Aftercare)

This is an opportunity to collaborate with staff across the Central West Hospital and Health Service (CWHHS) to implement the Zero Suicide in Healthcare (ZSiHC) Framework. You will also co-ordinate Aftercare Services to integrate Suicide Prevention clinical pathways across CWHHS.

What's involved – The Zero Suicide in Healthcare (ZSiH) initiative aims to strengthen the care of people at risk of suicide who come into contact with health services and is supported by strong leadership, a restorative just culture, workforce development and continuous quality improvement. This position will be responsible for providing clinical co-ordination for the Aftercare service within the CWHHS in partnership with the NGO provider for the After Care Service and the Western Queensland Primary Health Network (WQPHN). You will also provide clinical co-ordination, brief clinical intervention, integrated referral, and escalation pathways for the After Care Service.
