We are looking for a Mental Health Clinician to join our headspace team in Bathurst, NSW. The vacancy is Full Time, 75 hours per fortnight, and will be ongoing employment. Part time hours may also be considered for the right candidate.
This is an ideal job for an early career provisional psychologist or social worker. We’ll provide support for clinical growth into organisational processes, best-practice and current professional standards of service delivery for clients.

What will I do?
- Assist in the delivery of integrated primary Mental Health services to young people aged 12-25
- Use evidence-based approaches to deliver Mental Health assessment, formulation, care coordination and intervention
- Facilitate groups for families and young people
- Develop individualised treatment plans to implement appropriate intervention strategies

What do I need?
- Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work or other Mental Health accredited allied health discipline
- Registration/membership with the relevant board or association (eg. AHPRA, AASW)
- Advanced clinical skills in a range of Mental Health service settings
- Experience in the assessment and delivery of a range of treatments relevant to Mental Health
- Ability to engage and work with a range of clients, including those from diverse backgrounds
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills
- Computer literacy and experience with report writing and electronic client information management systems.
