• $51.75 - $66.02 per hour (dependent on experience) + superannuation + 25% casual loading

• Amazing location situated on the coast of South Australia, in a small rural town with a population of approximately 13,515 people. You will be surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, from the rugged beauty of the Flinders Ranges to the tranquil shores of Spencer Gulf.

You will be working for a dynamic Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service located on the coast of South Australia, in a rural town about 310km from Adelaide. The organisation offers a wide range of primary health, social support, and training services to Aboriginal people across various communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilise your clinical expertise to plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive range of Mental Health services.
• Work collaboratively within a diverse Mental Health team, employing various intervention approaches to support consumers.
• Provide expert Mental Health nursing care and clinical support to team members.
• Coordinate projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical expertise and improving consumer outcomes.
• Demonstrate effective communication and cultural competence when engaging with Aboriginal communities.

Qualifications & Certifications Required

003;

Current registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions
003; Graduate Diploma in Mental Health or equivalent
003; National Crime Check within the past 12 months
003; Driver's License for South Australia
003; DHS Working with Children's Check for South Australia
003; DHS National Crime Check for South Australia
003; DHS Aged Care Screening Check for South Australia

Essential Selection Criteria

003; At least (3) years of Registered Nursing experience
003; Demonstrated expertise in the Mental Health nursing practice in accordance with relevant standards.
003; Demonstrated experience in the supervision and leadership of multidisciplinary
003; Experience working with Aboriginal communities
003; Understanding and /or knowledge of the issues faced when delivering Mental Health programs within an Aboriginal Primary Health Care setting based within a rural environment.
