Great opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Nurse, to provide Mental Health support services in our clinic located at Broadmeadows, VIC on a Part Time basis.

Opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Nurse, to work in a clinic setting within the Immigration Detention Centre. Key responsibilities:

• Provide a high standard of clinical care pertaining to Mental Health care
• Initiates appropriate treatment and referral in emergency situations
• Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team
• Management of patients on Mental Health medications
• Administration of medications
• Conducting health promotional activities

• Working with people from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds

Profile description:

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Div. 1 Registered Nurse
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Mental Health Nursing
• Advanced clinical assessment, care planning and crisis management skills
• Current First Aid / BLS certificate or willingness to obtain
• Current Federal Police Check or willingness to obtain
