Mental Health Team Manager - Competitive Salary

Role:

As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of the Community Mental Health Programs, including the 0-25 team and the 26+ staffing group. Additionally, you will lead and support site-specific programs such as the Mental Health and Police Response (MHAPR) program, Lived Experience, Peer Support staff, and administration staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, support, and manage the daily operations of the local staff/team.
• Report to the General Manager Community Mental Health Service.
• Manage site-specific budgets, targets, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with the Clinical Lead positions for 0-25 and 26+ teams.

• Registered Nurse or Division 1 Registered Nurse with a post-basic qualification in Mental Health nursing and current registration with AHPRA.
• Approved degree in social work or other qualification approved for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
• Approved degree and registration with AHPRA.
• Degree or diploma from a recognised School of Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated experience in senior leadership and management roles.
• Experience with change management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
