The Queen Elizabeth Centre (QEC) is Victoria's largest provider of Residential, Community and Home-based parenting services and winner of the Premiers Health Service of the Year Award (small) 2022.
With our Residential Early Parenting Centre in Noble Park and Community home-based services across Victoria, we play a special role in providing parenting education and support to thousands of families every year to give their children the best start in life.

We have an exciting 12 month fixed term opportunity to join QEC as Team Manager - Gippsland working with a dedicated team of professionals supporting families in the inner and outer Gippsland region.
The Role:
As Team Manager – Gippsland your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing QEC’s Gipplsand team (based in Morwell and Bairnsdale) demonstrating strong capability and adaptability to deliver against objectives
- Representing QEC in Gippsland and build community partnerships that strengthen and grow QEC’s profile and service reach
- In consultation with Region Manager oversee budget and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements
- Overseeing day to day operations of the service to ensure provision of safe and effective therapeutic environment for children and their families
- Ensuring the wellbeing of all staff via implementation of all OHSES requirements
- Supervising Coordinators responsible for the provision of Clinical Supervision.
- Working closely with Region Manager to recruit and develop a professional workforce that reflects QEC's vision and values
- Work with Region Manager in implementing improvement projects
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related health discipline (Nursing, Psychology, Social Work) or extensive management experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and demonstrated experience in health, family services, government or community sectors
- Strong clinical knowledge and demonstrated experience in health and/or family services, including families and children with complex needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to adapt style to a range of audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships building trust through consistent actions, values and communication.
- Experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience and knowledge of ICT systems, including Microsoft Office
- AHPRA Registration where applicable
- Current Driver’s licence
