About the role
The Mental Health Trainer is responsible for the delivery of non accredited Mental Health courses on behalf of Australian Red Cross in accordance with required quality and compliance standards and for ensuring a positive end to end student experience. The duties involve delivering Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training, utilizing MHFA Australia endorsed materials, through face-to-face and virtual formats to diverse audiences. Additionally, delivering other Mental Health training using Red Cross endorsed materials, staying updated on Mental Health services across different states, maintaining accurate client records, ensuring participants are informed of their rights and responsibilities, planning training delivery and resources, maintaining a safe learning environment, completing administrative tasks promptly, and documenting participation in relevant training activities to maintain industry credentials.
What you will bringProven highly developed organisational and time management skill
Prior experience in delivering Mental Health training to a variety of clientele across a range of industries
Must be a current and accredited MHFA Instructor
Qualifications/experience in related health and/or Mental Health support
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment desired but not essential
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software and experience using databases

This role is covered by Educational Services (Post-Secondary) Award. Hourly from $67.51 + casual loading + superannuation + access to salary packaging.
