Our Franchise Partners are supported by a team of experts within Wizard Pharmacy Services here in Booragoon and we are looking for a Merchandise Operations Coordinatorto join the family.

The Role
Reporting to the Merchandise Operations Manager and working within the Merchandise Team, the Merchandise Operations Coordinator will drive the data integrity, stock management and data maintenance for the business. You will be responsible for new line creation, ordering and stock management, POS Maintenance and managing the support desk service for the Pharmacy team, whilst ensuring our service levels deliver on our Customer Success beliefs.
There will be a high level of involvement in the promotional campaign management process including forecasting, ordering and pricing.
There will be requirements to assist in system development including Central Ordering and POS Works and the role must actively support and deliver on the Wizard Pharmacy Services Collective Ambition as well as support the business in delivering successful outcomes with new systems and processes. This role will have a high level of interaction with Merchandise Buyers, Marketing and Retail Operations as well as with our Franchisees and Pharmacy Teams.
Areas of responsibility
- New Lines – creation and maintenance of new and existing products in POS Works
- Ordering – forecasting and purchase order generation for replenishment, promotional and seasonal activity from the wholesaler and manufacturer utilising Central Ordering
- Stock Management – manage day to day inventory analysis and identify and take action on stock imbalances across the group
- POS Maintenance – update product status, ranging, master file updates, promotional pricing and price file updates
- Connect Wise – manage and respond to all queries logged in the support desk system from both the pharmacies and WPS within the agreed timeline
- Merchandise Buying Support – assist in the management of the product life cycle including introduction of new lines, allocations, supplier management, promotional and general administrative support
What we need from you……
- A Cert IV qualification in business/commerce or equivalent experience is desirable
- Knowledge of the pharmacy industry is desirable
- 3-5 years’ experience in retail is essential
- Experience in a similar role in stock management and data maintenance is essential
- Strong customer service and written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Ability to communicate confidently and articulately with all external and internal stakeholders is essential
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills are essential
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills are essential
- Experience with ERP software and Advanced Excel is essential
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with particular emphasis on flexibility and adaptability
