SalaryOn behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment services is currently seeking self- motivated skilled Manual Machinist to assist in machining services. The business is an established Australian family-owned manufacturing engineering company based in the Clayton area specialising in providing a wide range of engineering services to a variety of manufacturing industries such as mechanical design & drafting services, manufacturing and design engineering, electrical design & drafting services, steel fabrication and CNC machining. Moreover, it specialises in electrical manufacturing & engineering, Automation Engineering Services, mechatronics engineers and robotics engineering.
Required Skills and Experience:
- AQF Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent
- At least 3 years recent relevant work experience
- Previous and proven job history and references in a similar role
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- CNC machining experience advantageous, but not essential
- Recognised trade qualifications and certificates (to be presented upon request)
- Industry knowledge and safe work practices/ OH&S are essential
- Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to work as a part of a team
