As a result of the company’s continued growth, an excellent opportunity has become available for suitably qualified and experienced Workshop Metal Machinist to join our Port Hedland based team.
Rate $45.00– $65.00 per hour
To be successful for this position, you must possess the following:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skill
- Positive and proactive approach to safety
- Willingness to work over time
- Able to pass drug & alcohol screening
- Experienced in operating and maintaining manual machines such as lathe, horizontal borers and milling machines
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Able to finish machine parts within tolerances
- Conducting regular quality checks such as visual checks or taking measurements
- Maintaining and complying with all quality systems
- Ability to read, understand and follow the work scope provided
- Able to work to both quality and time requirements
Required Tickets:
- Australian Recognized Trade certificate
- C class drivers’ license
- High Risk Work License (LF and WP)
