AddressBaker and Provan is looking for motivated and experienced Metal Machinist to join the team on a full time basis.
Location: 9-11 Power St, St Marys NSW 2760
The Role
- Ability to program, setup & operate;
- Understanding drawings and knowledgeably choose materials and correct
equipment to use;
- Assembling metal parts into products/machines/equipment with meticulous
attention to provide the best service to our customers;
- Operate Okuma Lathes (or Machining Centres) including
One Touch Programs;
- Knowledgeably operate manual machining;
- Identify faults and perform maintenance of machines.
Skills and experience
- Current
High-Risk Forklift driver’s license (Essential)
- Recognized welding qualification (Essential)
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working as a Metal Machinist
- Experience working with and following Quality, Health & Safety, and
Environmental systems, policies, and procedures.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent attention to detail
Salary: between $70,000 to $90,000 based on experience
