Metal Machinist

We are currently recruiting qualified, experienced trades people to fill positions in our well-equipped Wetherill Park and Condobolin workshops. This full-time position offers excellent wages and conditions in our purpose-built facility.

The key objective of the position of the CNC Machinist is to produce machined parts by programming, setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines, maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards.
We are looking for CNC Machinists who have experience with:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Operating Mori Seiki CNC 4 axis multi-tasking lathes and Machining Centres
- Creating and editing programs
- Adjusting machine & tooling off sets
- Competent in the use of measuring equipment including CMM (training available)
- Understanding of CAD/CAM
- Working from 2D detailed workshop drawings
- You must have the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Overtime opportunities available
