SalaryWe are currently seeking a highly skilled Metal Machinist to join our dynamic team. As a Metal Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools, Lathes, Milling Machines both conventional and CNC to produce precision parts. Your expertise will contribute to our engineering excellence reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret engineering drawings and tolerance specifications
Fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipment.
Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining
Setting guides, stops and other controls on conventional machine tools.
Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade and/or 2- 3 years of Fitter/Machinist Experience
Proven experience as a Metal Machinist- Hands on experience on manual machines including lathe, Milling Machine, Drill Press and pneumatic/electrical hands on tools essential.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to use measuring instruments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
CNC Lathe Machining experience is highly desirable, but not essential.

Salary: $72,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
