Reporting to the Contract Delivery Manager, as the Team Leader, you will lead your team to provide effective meter reading and customer service duties within the Jemena gas contract Position is based in Sydney, attractive fulltime renumeration package provided as well as company vehicle, uniform and required training. ABOUT YOU
- Hold current unrestricted Driver's Licence
- Experience within the Utilities sector would be advantageous but not essential
- People management and leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills enabling work with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholder
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite experience
- Excellent time management skills and ability to respond to organisational needs
- Ability to work autonomously and approach activities with initiative
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead a team of regional Meter Readers by coaching and mentoring them to meet contract KPI's
- Liaise with the Contract scheduler to ensure all works are completed in accordance with both Downer Zero Harm safety and quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, motivate and encourage the team
- Be reliable and punctual
- Liaise with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Liaise with the Contract administration team for the maintenance of relevant equipment (i.e., vehicles, tools, uniforms, and consumables)
- Suitably onboard and train employees
- Perform any other tasks, projects, or duties, consistent with the position, which may be requested by the Contract Delivery Manager.
