Form of workA renowned Australian household brand is actively searching for a Mid-Level Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong command of Data, Ai, API and SQL, with particular emphasis on the ability to craft SQL queries.
To be successful you'll need to have clear communication, technology documentation, and process mapping. While coding is not a primary requirement, a crucial aspect is the capability to comprehend and articulate intricate technical concepts.

Coming from a digital background, you'll showcase business acumen, exceptional communication, and technical expertise essential for driving success. Whether facilitating stakeholder sessions or delving into technical intricacies, you'll adeptly navigate both. Your ability to zoom in on data and detail while grasping the broader perspective, coupled with strategic prowess, enables you to shepherd ideas from conception to fruition seamlessly.
Core Skills / Responsibilities;
- Working closely with key stakeholders and the team to devise optimal solutions for addressing the most valuable and compelling challenges.
- Converting requirements into top-tier user stories, complete with personas and acceptance criteria, to guarantee thorough functional and non-functional testing capabilities.
- Assisting squad members during project activities as needed, showcasing adaptability by seamlessly transitioning between roles to support the team.
- Skilled in crafting SQL queries to extract and analyse data, extracting valuable insights from the collected information.
- Proven capacity to think strategically on a global scale, comprehend business dynamics, and effectively handle extensive datasets.
This role will be part of a long-term engagement working within a hybrid working environment of 2 days in the office and 3 days remotely based in Sydney.
