Our fully set up commercial studio is approximately 130m2, located in Artarmon, and has extensive equipment, cameras, lighting and up to date Mac's to help with getting the job done.
The Role:
The position we have available includes both photography and post production of our projects.
The role will be a combination of photography & post production, making sure the images are produced to a standard and delivered to our clients on time.
Photography: A blend of mainly corporate portraits and events/launches, with some building/architecture and construction and the possibility of some product photography if your skills are up to scratch.
Post production: This involves downloading files, editing, proofing, colour correcting, retouching and client communication - you must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom
At times, the role includes hours earlier and later than the standard ‘nine to five’ so flexibility is a must, as some projects can be booked last minute.
Some days e have some early starts and some late night finishes, and the odd rare weekend project.
We balance it out so you get the odd long weekend thrown in too…!

Skills & Requirements:
• We expect you to have a sound knowledge of Lightroom, Photoshop, and have solid skills in and understanding of photography, lighting and a keen eye for colour correcting.
• Photography experience as a photographer for 2+ years in a professional studio - either commercial, portrait or wedding studio.
• Proficient with solid experience using studio packs, mono's, LED's and portable lighting equipment.
• DSLR Video experience would be also a great help - this could be either shooting, video editing and general work in this space, as some of our clients require both skill sets.
• Additional attributes that may help in your application, (however not totally necessary) - knowledge in Illustrator, In-design, be very familiar with Mac, and also Canon cameras.
• Your own car and up to date drivers licence is essential for travel to jobs on location. (mileage reimbursed as per ATO suggested rates)
What may help with your application?
• Experience in a professional photography studio shooting people, products or events (This is a must - no applications accepted without genuine proven experience in a studio or with a firm in the industry)
• Experience in Videography - we have multiple clients that require still photography, with video added to the same shoot.
• Certificate IV in Photography at TAFE
• Diploma in Photography at TAFE
• Other relevant education higher than above TAFE qualifications
• Drone skills and or CASA RePL as we also offer drone services.
