An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network as the Midwife Unit Manager where you will manage the Midwifery Department and the Hospitals Community Midwives.The main focus of this role is the line management, coordination and leadership of nursing/midwifery and/or multi-disciplinary team activities to achieve continuity and quality of patient/client care and outcomes.Eligibility:Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife or Midwife, with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with at least 3 years post registration experience.About Us:The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) covers almost 440,000 square kilometres of spectacular South Australia, supporting about 40,000 people living around Eyre Peninsula and the Far North of the state.With its ancient outback landscapes and culture, boutique vineyards, renowned oyster farms and Australia's best-kept-secret surf coast, the Eyre Peninsula and Far North offers a lifestyle that will inspire and energise you.
