Duties will include, but not limited to:
As a MIG Welder you are the crucial team member for the delivery of a high quality products to their customers. You will be working in the large boat and plate boat department of this company.
You will be responsible for:
Fabricate and build aluminium boats to meet the specifications of the plan.
The welding is predominantly MIG welding, however, TIG welding experience is an
advantage
Ability to Weld aluminium extrusion and unpainted sheet metal
Work as part of a team to meet company deadlines
Take pride in your workmanship and have strong attention to detail.
Use of equipment such as power tools, pneumatic tools, band saws, hand tools and welders
The Ideal Person will:
• Be a trade qualified Welder or have at least 5 years experience in MIG welding
• Identify & correct any surface blemishes
• Work within the established workplace health & safety policies
• Complete tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to use other hand and power tools competently
• Attention to detail and take pride in work
