About our role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Milk Accountant, reporting to the Management Control Manager for Milk Collection. The role of Milk Accountant is to assist in the completion of the milk collection month end result and all relevant reporting. This role will also assist in various tasks throughout the month to ensure accurate and timely reconciling and processing of invoices for milk, ingredients and freight.
Role responsibilities
- Ensuring completion of the month end result for milk collection within the required timeframe
- Ensuring all milk and ingredient transactions have been accurately accounted for
- Completing month end reporting and providing analysis on the variances
- Assisting in processing invoices for purchases and sales of milk and ingredients to other processors
- Reconciling and processing freight invoices
- Identifying and delivering process improvements for the milk collection management control team
The successful candidate will have
- Strong financial accounting and control skills
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel
- Solid exposure and use of broad functionality with SAP ERP
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience and working relationships with cross functional teams
