- Oversee the extraction of phosphate
- Transform conceptual models into usable diagrams an maps
- Ensure dilution and ore loss is minimal
- Provide technical support and mentor Geologists and Technicians
- Foster a safety first and zero harm culture
- Collect and manage aquifer data
- Manage drilling program in its entirety (prep work, follow up and data processing)
- Bachelor of Science – Geology
- Skilled in the use of Datamine, acQuire, Surpac, SAP and MS Office
- 3+ year in open cut mine environment
- Strong knowledge of sedimentary environments
- Mine Safety Supervisor G1, G8 and G9
- Knowledge of ROM ore blending practices
- Capability to convert abstract models into practical diagrams and maps for effective use
- Familiar with wet acid manufacturing process
- A proactive and collaborative attitude
