Responsibilities

• Oversee the extraction of phosphate
• Transform conceptual models into usable diagrams an maps
• Ensure dilution and ore loss is minimal
• Provide technical support and mentor Geologists and Technicians
• Foster a safety first and zero harm culture
• Collect and manage aquifer data
• Manage drilling program in its entirety (prep work, follow up and data processing)

Skills

• Bachelor of Science – Geology
• Skilled in the use of Datamine, acQuire, Surpac, SAP and MS Office
• 3+ year in open cut mine environment
• Strong knowledge of sedimentary environments
• Mine Safety Supervisor G1, G8 and G9
• Knowledge of ROM ore blending practices
• Capability to convert abstract models into practical diagrams and maps for effective use
• Familiar with wet acid manufacturing process
• A proactive and collaborative attitude
