Reporting to the Superintendent Production Scheduling, you will be part of a team responsible for short to medium term mine plans and design. Production scheduling are responsible for the effective delivery of all elements of mine planning and design work from the weekly horizon to the 2-year plan.The Mining Engineer role covers a diverse range of work planning and designing for both autonomous and non-autonomous operations.Working in this team will see you positively influence business decisions and will require a focus on delivering value. The successful candidate will demonstrate understanding of value focused decision-making, technical excellence, and strong collaboration skills. - Tertiary qualifications in Mine Engineering or other related disciplines in Engineering or Geoscience (preferred)
- Resource industry and site based mining experience
- Working knowledge of CAD and scheduling software packages (such as Vulcan, Deswik, Spry or Alastri)
