They offer a range of qualifications on its scope including building and construction, building trades, civil construction and manufacturing courses. Our client is dedicated to providing the very best in training, education and customer service.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director & CEO, you will ensure that the delivery of training and assessment is conducted in accordance with:
Relevant Acts of Parliament
State funding contracts
ASQA Standards, guidelines and policies
RTO policies, procedures and Code of Practice
Other requirements imposed by agreement, legislation and regulation
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a structured audit program to ensure compliance requirements are achieved and maintained in line with regulatory requirements, business policies and procedures
Develop, implement and maintain continuous improvement plans and structured staff development programs
Develop, implement and manage assessment validation processes
Ensure trainers are properly qualified and undertake appropriate professional development activities
Maintain compliant trainer and staff files
Supervise staff who are not fully qualified as trainers
Monitor and advise on implementation of newly developed training courses and transitions from superseded packages to newly endorsed versions
Assist with implementation and maintenance of all ASQA Standards for RTOs and ensure the Standards are being followed to a high level
Conduct student file audits
Review and update learning and assessment materials
Submitting Quality Indicator reports to ASQA
The Successful Candidate
Previous compliance experience and high-level operational knowledge of regulatory and funding bodies
Demonstrated high level of verbal and written communication skills
Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail and good customer service skills
Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Proactive and able to use own initiative
Lead & support and manage internal and external audits
