AddressCompliance Officer – Aged Care
Crewe Sharp a long-established provider of experienced, qualified, and compassionate workers, provides nursing and non-nursing agency staff to residential aged care facilities, hospitals and community home care across Australia.
We are looking for an experienced Aged Care Compliance Officer to join our leadership team.
The current opportunity would suit a Nurse or Allied Health Professional with proven aged care experience aiming to secure a permanent position in a leading national nursing agency.
The Role
You will deliver and manage the organisational quality and compliance program to meet the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Facilitating compliance with Crewe Sharp, maintain up to date relevance of all internal Policies and Procedures
- Manage all accreditation/certification and compliance processes and systems, adhering to legislative requirements.
- Oversee compliance processes to ensure relevant personnel are keeping documentation up to date and implement remedial action if necessary. Key documentation including but not limited to Police Checks, Drivers Licenses, Home Safety Risk Assessments etc.
- Actively participate as a team member of the senior leadership team to support the achievement of our organisational goals and strategies.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry reforms, and best practice care to provide relevant advice and guidance to the leadership team.
- Facilitate relevant training, mentoring and coaching where required.
- Work closely with the Clinical Team to ensure all created training resources are up to date.
About You
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in the Aged Care industry in a compliance or similar role
- Well-developed organisational skills including experience in determining work priorities, multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated experience with audit processes and procedures
- Demonstrates a proficiency using computer systems
- Understanding of the Aged Care Act and the Aged Care Quality Standards
