About the role

If so, an opportunity has become available to join our Parking Compliance team on a rotating roster between 7:00am and 7:00pm, as well as regular weekend overtime.
The Parking Compliance Team is based at the Dandenong Civic Centre, however the role covers the entire municipality.
What does the Parking Compliance team do?
- Enforce parking restrictions under the Road Safety Act & Regulations
- Respond to and investigate reports of illegal parking
- Educate the community on parking related matters
- Conduct regular patrol records
- Assist with the monitoring of Councils school crossings
About you
If this role sounds like it could be for you, previous experience in a customer service role and a good knowledge of Part 12 of the Victorian Road Rules will be an advantage but is not essential.
The successful candidate will require a good level of fitness as many patrols are conducted on foot. You may be required to undertake practical testing; psychometric testing and a functional capacity assessment (physical).
The successful candidate will be asked to produce a clear Working with Children Check and will be asked to consent to a national police check (and where relevant an ‘international criminal history check’), subject to the operation of spent conviction laws.
