About the role
- Full Time Role – Dynamic Roster (Monday to Friday –1.30pm to 9.30pm and Saturday (fortnightly) 8.30am to 5.00pm)
- Part Time Role – Rotating Roster (Thursday/Friday/Saturday and Tuesday/Thursday)
- Some Paid Overtime available
We have opportunities for experienced, collaborative, flexible, solutions, and forward-thinking Mobile Suicide Prevention Clinicians to join our dynamic team. In this role, your ability to work autonomously or closely with your peers and build/develop strong relationships with key stakeholder partnerships, will be pivotal to your success.
Your experience working with people in crisis, comfortability to attend to face to face home visits and telehealth communications, including identifying, following up and prioritising appropriate risks, and understanding of the recovery journey, will set you up for success to make a real difference in providing support to Broken Hill, and the surrounding communities of Far West LHD.What you’ll be doing
The SPOT (Suicide Prevention Outreach Team) clinicians will work alongside peer workers to provide recovery-oriented support for people who are in crisis. Support may include crisis response, assertive follow up, psychosocial support, safety planning, recovery/wellness planning, individual peer support, advocacy, and collaborative identification of community supports.What we offer you
