An amazing opportunity has opened up for an experienced accountant (ideally CA/CPA qualified or close to completion) to become an integral part of our boutique accounting firm on the northern Gold Coast.

Due to a growing client base, we are looking to expand our team. Your salary and conditions will be negotiated based on your experience and qualifications. We also have a generous and structured bonus program in place.
About the role
The main focus of this role will be to support our business services team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Daily management of workflow
- Preparation of financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and sole traders
- Preparation of tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Assisting clients to meet other tax obligations including preparation of business activity statements, taxable payments annual reports, superannuation payments, FBT returns.
While mentoring and on-the-job training will be provided, you are expected to be able to work autonomously and take most jobs from start to finish.
The position is part-time - minimum of 2 days, maximum of 4 days. There are options to work from home for some of the working week.
About you
Minimum criteria for applicants:
- Experience with Xero and Xero tax
- Self-sufficient in completing financial statements and tax returns
- CPA/CA qualified or close to completion
- At least 3 years experience in public practice
