You're passionate about a career delivering solutions that impact millions.
If finding complex technological solutions is your game, we've got the team for you. You're going to help us create seamless operations that result in efficiency for millions of customers.
In this role, you'll:
Control the day-to-day operations of motorways and tunnels through the use of the Motorway Management System (MMS), Sydney Co-ordinated Adaptive Traffic System (SCATS), SCATS Ramp Metering System (SRMS) and other traffic systems.
You will monitor and assess congestion and delays to motorways, tunnels and surrounding road network and ensure unplanned traffic incidents are responded to on a priority basis. About you
You will have experience and knowledge of traffic management and the Sydney road network, along with incident management or similar operational experience. Ideally you have a background working for Transport for NSW or at a private motorway operator, and whilst it is not essential, experience operating smart motorways would be a bonus.
As this role requires you work with multiple traffic control systems and software applications, you will ideally possess skills in analysis, reporting, interpreting data and making recommendations based on that data. You will also have strong stakeholder management skills as you will work closely with various teams within the TMC and throughout Transport.
This is a unique opportunity to join the Smart Motorways and Corridors team to contribute to the roll-out of the Western Distributor Smart Motorway.
