AddressHarvey Galleries has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and organised Operations/Inventory Controller to join us Full Time.
Your main responsibility will be the management of stock. Your role will require computer skills and database management, and assist with the installation of exhibitions. Art knowledge & gallery experience is not required.
Your duties will include the following:
- You will be responsible for day-to day gallery operations.
- Keeping staff fully up to date on current and upcoming exhibitions.
- Managing the transportation of artwork.
- Raise purchase orders for inventory as required.
- Processing inventory into database and keeping reports.
- Lifting/moving/crating of artworks.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Reliability and attention to detail.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Previous experience in an office role is preferable, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient computer literacy skills are required. Microsoft 365 (particularly excel)
- Well groomed presentation
- Full driver's licence
The primary location for this position will be located in our Seaforth gallery. Full time Tuesday to Saturday 10am-6pm
