We are seeking a highly experienced MRI Technologist to supervise our MRI department and deliver a high quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) service at our practice in St John of God Hospital Ballarat.
As the MRI Supervisor, you will work collaboratively with the team utilising high end technology on both 1.5 and 3T Siemens scanners to provide quality patient care for the community. While working with the team, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a high quality, efficient MRI service to our patients and referrers
- Providing training, support and mentoring to the MRI team
- Co-ordination and supervision of the operational activities of the MRI team
- Ensuring the safe and efficient use of the MRI equipment, resolving faults/issues, and liaising with vendors and management as required
- Assisting with ongoing growth and development of MRI services
- Liaising with Radiologists, modality supervisors and staff to provide continued clinical excellence.

- Degree qualifications in Medical Imaging, ideally post grad or business degree
- A strong background in MRI, with at least Level 1 MRI ASMIRT qualifications
- Highly developed leadership skills with a proven ability to build and manage effective teams
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships
- 5+ years' experience working in an MRI Radiology department; is ideal but not essential.
