We're excited to welcome a dedicated Multicultural Education Aide to our team at Kolbe Catholic College, Greenvale Lakes. As a valued member of our community, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering cultural exchange, understanding, and supporting students from diverse backgrounds to thrive academically and socially. Responsibilities: Support new arrival students in transitioning to the college and the Australian/Catholic school system. Provide personalized assistance to students facing language barriers. Cultivate cultural sensitivity and appreciation within the school community. Assist in establishing and coordinating the Community Hub, including developing programs for parents, families, and the wider community. Facilitate effective communication among parents, students, and staff of varying cultural backgrounds. Offer interpretation or translation services when required. Requirements: Proficiency in English and at least one other language preferred (Assyrian, Chaldean, and/or Arabic advantageous).
