Multimedia Specialist

Zeal Digital is currently looking for an experienced Multimedia Specialist to join our team in Sydney. We are looking for a dynamic and outcomes-driven Multimedia Specialist who is driven and can work individually and in a team environment. This is a high-pressure working environment, and the candidate must be able to perform under pressure and within prescribed deadlines.
You will need to demonstrate a bachelor's degree or higher qualification and 5+ years of relevant post-qualification employment experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and expansion of the multimedia component of our business relative to the creation, manipulation, and application of computer animation, audio, video, and graphic image files for multimedia programs.
Tasks Include:

• Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss briefs, requirements, and project progress making technical recommendations
• Creating multimedia designs in liaison with animators, programmers, writers, video producers, sound engineers, and artists
• Developing and using skills and expertise in appropriate design packages such as Photoshop, In Design, and After Effects
• Keeping up to date with technological and software developments
• Testing products for errors and making amendments
• Work with the Digital team to prepare promotional/marketing material to promote digital solutions.
• Lead the design of small and medium-scale projects and support others in the Product Design Team.
• Build and understand end-to-end customer journey maps, ensuring these are current and utilized to create a shared understanding of customers' experience.
• Champion customer-centricity and understanding of customer practices to drive improvement and innovation as part of the broader Experience Insights and Design function.

About you:

• Proven direct involvement in the creation of communications content design
• Sound knowledge of UX and UI design principles and techniques.
• Experience in research and human-centred design practices highly regarded
• Experience in producing digital communications and marketing collateral (graphic design, video, interactive media, and images).

Technical knowledge/experience:

• Graphic and multimedia design tools e.g., Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with UI design tools e.g. Figma or Sketch
• Good knowledge/experience of web publishing tools
• Minimum 5 years of experience in multimedia and/or visual communication.

Requirements:

• Portfolio showing examples of your design work

You must be an Australian citizen/resident or hold a valid Visa to work full-time in Australia.
