One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments is looking to engage multiple experienced Cyber Security Analyststo provide Cyber Security expertise across Risk Assessments, Cyber Advice, and System Authorisations across the department. The role will be based across multiple locations with the successful Cyber Security Analysts to be offered a 12 month contract with a further 1 year extension.
The successful Cyber Security Analystsbe responsible for, but not limited to:
- Providing ICT Security advice with a focus on Risk, Compliance, Assurance and Reporting.
- Providing guidance on security strategies to manage identified risks.
- Evaluating / identifying areas of risk, and analysing the need for, and suitability of, security controls.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including contracted entities, other Departments and Agencies, service providers and other interest groups.
- Assisting in the development of key Cyber Security artefacts, including strategy policy & procedures.
The successful Cyber Security Analystswill have experience in the following:
- Proven knowledge of key security standards such as PSPF, ISM, Essential 8.
- Proven experience working in complex ICT Environments with multiple of Service Providers.
- Minimum two years professional experience in ICT with proven experience in Information Security and or Risk Assessments.
- Experience in Cloud Security.
- Possess an Information Technology or Computer Science Degree or Cyber specific Certificates.
