Multiskilled Carer to partner with residents, enabling them to fulfil their daily living, social and emotional needs at our Juniper John Bryant aged care home, located in Marangaroo.In this role you will provide person centered care and communicate with residents in a manner that enhances their quality of life, ensuring that they feel welcome and respected at all times. It will be important that you embrace Juniper's core values and follow our policies and procedures.On offer for a successful candidate is permanent part time role and must be able to cover the following shifts:Week 1: Thursday and Friday 7:00am - 15:00pmWeek 2: Wednesday 15:00pm-22:00pm and Thursday 07:00am-15:0pm.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assistance to residents with their hygiene needs including bathing, dental hygiene, dressing, grooming and personal care.
- Support the maintenance or restoration of residents' independence by providing assistance to engage in activities of interest and use mobility aids where required.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation and report information to relevant Nursing, Allied Health and Management as required.
- Maintain effective communication in the workplace, being respectful, open to change and kind in your approach.
- Assist residents with the administration of correct medication in accordance with Juniper policies
Skills and Experience required:- Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (Essential)
- Minimum one year of experience as a Carer within an aged care setting (Essential)
- Understanding of AN-ACC documentation (Desirable)
- Experience working within a person centered, enabling environment
