Our Municipal Inspector Team are integral to ensuring the West Tamar is a safe place to live, work and play, making a positive impact on our community. You will be based at Council’s Riverside Office, travelling throughout the municipality as necessary.
The role of Municipal Inspector will be as varied as the environments you manage. Having a love of animals and helping people is a must. You must communicate effectively and relate to difficult situations. A willingness to learn and be part of a team is essential.
You will be responsible for ensuring that residents of the West Tamar municipality adhere to relevant legislation and council by laws, with respect to dogs, animals, vegetation and statutory nuisances. You will also assist with managing cemetery operations in accordance with the legislative responsibility of Council.

You will be rewarded with a salary ranging from $66,844 - $76,233 (negotiable) + employer super up to 14.5% + nine-day fortnight
