Address We are seeking an experienced Nanny/Household Manager to help care for our 2 daughters (a 4-year-old and 2-year-old) on Thursdays and Fridays.
We have had long-term nannies since the eldest was a baby and have a permanent nanny Monday to Wednesday. Now looking for a new nanny on a Thursday and Friday as mum is increasing to full-time work.
Details are as follows:
Thursdays and Fridays weekly 7am to 6:30pm.
Friday or Saturday nights as required (for us to have a date night or when we have events).
$35-45 per hour (depending on the candidate and negotiable).
Starting 1st May 2024 (negotiable on start date for the right candidate).
Drives license is essential for school drop offs/pick-ups (family has a car for the nanny to use).
Minimum 12-month commitment with a view to being longer term.
Nanny duties include sole care of the children while both parents are working, children's meal planning, cooking, planning children's activities/outings and supporting their emotional, physical needs and development.
Household management duties include running the household in collaboration with the parents. In addition, running errands and light home duties such as laundry, emptying the dishwasher, shopping, cooking etc. while the children are at school and daycare.
Please note that the eldest is at school now on a Thursday and Friday, and this will require school drop offs and pick-ups. The youngest is at childcare on a Thursday and Friday, and the nanny will be required to do the childcare drop offs and pick-ups at the centre which is within walking distance (400m from house). Lastly, the successful nanny will be required to perform household management duties and cooking during the day while the girls are at school/day care.
We are looking for someone who is kind, trustworthy, organised, fun and who demonstrates strong leadership skills, and attention to detail. My husband and I are both busy professionals, so we are seeking a Nanny/Household Manager who is reliable and trustworthy.
Overall, the major responsibilities include keeping the household, children and family well organised and spending time with the kids.
Must have experience with toddlers and pre-school children.
The family also have a Burmese cat so must be comfortable with cats.
