National Account Manager
Responsible for managing Kenvue's Medicinal Portfolio of categories within our Major Grocery accounts. This includes the day to day management of account relationships, effective promotional planning, spend management and leading category review processes to deliver physical availability to the end consumer and achieve set financial targets.
This position reports into the National Business Manager and is based in Sydney, Australia.

What You Will Do
The National Account Manager plays a critical part in achieving Kenvue's purpose by partnering with the customer to build brands and drive revenue growth through effective customer strategies for the end consumer. The National Account Manager is responsible for:
- Demonstrating strong commercial acumen and customer centricity with our customers to develop tailored offerings to Major Grocery shoppers that ensures the physical availability of our brands in the market
- Developing, implementing and executing robust annual Joint Business Plans and Category Reviews that ensure ongoing financial success and mutual growth for both the customer and Kenvue
- Working collaboratively across our organisation to develop compelling category and shopper insights that result in strategic plans to accelerate growth
- Cultivating partnerships that develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Develop a more strategic approach to account management through the implementation and ongoing servicing of bottom up forecasting and ROI tracking, including providing accurate stock forecasts to ensure stable supply
- Continuous evaluation of sales performance and identification of opportunities to grow sales and improve profitability
- Develop and implement joint business plans with the customer by forming mutually beneficial strategies to achieve sustainable growth for your portfolio, including annual promotional and activation calendars
- Lead the category review process to ensure improved visibility and physical availability of your product range
- Manage trade spend budgets within customer investment guard rails to deliver profitable growth
- Ensure the field team is adequately briefed to support national activity to maximise sales results
- Negotiate mutually beneficial strategies to drive category and sales growth for both businesses
- Work collaboratively with internal category and marketing teams to shape strategic plans
- Be a key contributor to the broader Sales Team through sharing best practice initiatives in all internal forums
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business/Accounting or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of working experience in Tier 1 FMCG account management
- Strong financial literacy including the ability to work with P&Ls effectively
- Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of category management & shopper principles
- Intermediate level in software systems Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong presentation, negotiation and selling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with or managing Woolworths or Coles
- Experience with Quantium Insights and/or Coles Synergy
