Position Purpose
Work with a mix of national corporate & other mid-tier accounts to meet the servicing demands and value delivery expectations of these our customers. All efforts will be directed towards a structured, purposeful, value based, multi layered Strategic Account Management program that ensures ongoing recognized value outcomes for our major customers and for Sealed Air.
Job Description
- Achieve maximum sales at highest margin returns
- Facilitation and Management - Facilitate, manage and deliver structured joint business plans and forums with our major National Food Care customers. Ensure the execution and delivery of these programs to the respective state/site Account Manager to ensure the program is delivered/ executed.
- Engagement Program - Develop an agreed customer engagement program at national and state/ site level ensuring we have a program of engagement at all levels of their businesses and across all major stakeholders. The frequency and forum for these is to be built and agreed via the National Business Plan.
- Manage business relationships with all key decision makers to further our business interests and to ensure we are always aligned to delivering to the customers needs. Outline key roles and frequency of engagement required by all stake holders at Sealed Air.
- Customer Engagement Surveys – conduct x 2 customer engagement surveys throughout each year to review the service and value we are providing to our key customers.
- Margin Improvement - Maximise company profitability by margin maximisation – Identify and manage the delivery, execution and reporting of key Deals and Offers programs across the National Key Accounts you manage.
- Business Planning – Creation of joint, strategic national business plans for each Key Account customer. Own/ Manage the effective implementation with the sales teams and monitoring of the business plan process across the customers entire business – HO and Site.
- Innovation – Manage and facilitate tailored Innovation programs or events.
- Forecasting – Implement and gain buy-in from the customers and sales team for a process whereby we gain important forecasting information to assist with our S&OP process. Work Collaboratively with Sealed Air Demand Planner and the respective customer representatives to build an effective network for information capture.
- State Sales Managers and State Account Manager Engagement – Ensure that all national customer Business Plans are effectively communicated to the relevant internal stakeholders. Any updates to the plans are communicated promptly. Spend time within the states visiting customer sites and spending time with Sales Managers and Account Managers to ensure the National Business Plan is being executed. Build a process for capturing key information from each site, so as to ensure we are always informed of key information

- Demonstrated National Account Management experience.
