About the Role
Zarafa Group are a market leader in the telecommunications and civils industry and are on the lookout for our next National Business Development Manager to join their growing team.
As a National Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's growth trajectory.
Reporting directly to the CEO and COO this role will be responsible for driving our client's Business Development initiatives on a national scale, with a primary focus on expanding key relationships, forging strategic partnerships, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Your primary objectives will include:
- Developing a strategic approach to take new products to market to drive volume and awareness.
- Contributing to the sales strategy by identifying national key accounts and pipeline opportunities for emerging channels.
- Establish and cultivate partnerships with distributors and key accounts, driving new sales and fostering growth opportunities.
- Effectively onboard new customers, including pricing negotiations, contract management, and training.
- Collaborating with the Marketing team to ensure all collateral and new business pitches are on-brand.
- Conducting financial analysis (profit window) to ensure that all pricing and new business proposals affecting margins are within Zarafa accepted parameters.
- Reporting on sales performance and opportunities in a strategic and insightful manner.
Our Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an ideal candidate who possesses the following qualifications and attributes:
- Minimum of 4 years of working knowledge and experience in a Sales role in the telecommunications, civils and infrastructure industry.
- Proven experience working with national accounts.
- Proven experience in pitching and tendering for large accounts.
- Proven relationships and networks.
- Resilient and persistent in pursuing sales leads.
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and proactively, not reactively.
- Ability to represent and pitch the Zarafa Group brand and products confidently and professionally.
- Ability to travel within Australia expos.
- Highly organized with the ability to plan and meet tight deadlines daily.
