About the role
This role is a 12-month parental leave contract, the National Digital Director is predominantly responsible for achieving the National Digital advertising budget through strategic and sales-driven initiatives.
The role is first and foremost a sales-driving role. This role works towards achieving the National Digital advertising budget, while providing high levels of digital proficiency in the commercial team, and exemplary go-to-market offerings. This role will also drive programmatic deals, both programmatic guaranteed ‘PG’ and unguaranteed deals ‘PMP’.
The role will assist in the development and implementation of digital strategies to drive profitable revenue growth nationally for the Are Media Digital Network.
The role requires collaboration with Advertising Sales, Strategy and Brands, while contributing to the overall Are Media digital strategy. Within the remit of this role is also training, guiding and supervising the sales, brands and strategy teams digital output to ensure campaigns, deals and budgets are successful.
Duties
- Create the digital go to market sales strategy for Are Media digital in consultation with various internal partners.
- Demonstrate a highly consultative approach to ensure that relevant clients, agencies vendors and any other revenue contributors receive the highest level of customer support through either direct contact or working closely with the sales teams.
- Train and develop sales teams on digital offerings and products including programmatic, with a high touch assistance model for staff across NSW, VIC and QLD.
- Attending relevant sales meetings with staff to help articulate Are Media's digital offering to drive revenue outcomes.
Skills and experience
- Agency sales experience, digital is preferable
- Qualified relationships in market
- Strong digital product knowledge
- Understanding of programmatic
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar digital management role
