National HSE Systems Manager

Transport logistics organisation, with a strong focus on innovation and productivity, requires a Health, Safety and Environment Systems Manager to lead, develop and improve the integrated HSE system across the organisation. The company has a well-established and expansive network division across Australia. You will be required to step into this role to provide leadership, influence, promote ownership and a positive proactive culture with technical support and advice across system improvement.  

You will be leading the centralised safety, health and environment system in conjunction with the HSE strategy being a key influence on all stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. The role will encompass the implementation of the organisations SMS and EMS across all sites as well as the coaching of line mangers to ensure continuous improvement of Health Safety and Environment.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in safety, environment management or related study.
• Advanced knowledge of managing and maintaining multiple system platforms.
• Ability to present data and information to all levels of stakeholders
• Practical approach with extensive knowledge of legislative requirements within the state.
• The ability to drive change and performance at a national level and to initiate and develop solutions to complex issues.
• Demonstrated change management skills through the use of systems improvement and engaging with stakeholders.
