About the role
Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following -
- Management of all HSEQ systems
- Lead and manage two direct reports
- Lead for ISO audits including all preparation and closing out of audit items
- Lead for all incident investigations
- Management of all training, VOC's, inductions, licences in line with regulatory requirements and best practice
- Lead for all injury management & Workcover claims
- Management of all insurance claims
- Ensuring adherence to specification and standards of quality, safety and environment
- Driving best practice in HSEQ
- Being up to date with all regulatory and statutory requirements
- Conducting regular site audits
- Chair for HSE committee
Preferred Skills / Qualifications
- Current drivers licence
- Qualification in WH&S preferred
- Construction industry experience
- MS Office computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Previous leadership experience in HSEQ preferred
- Able to work in a team environment
- A can do attitude
