About the Role:

As the National Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with business Leaders and Managers to strategically undertake Human Resources related activities. You will drive the full suite of generalist HR functions and maintain a high level of performance and accountability for operational support to your assigned client groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, direction, support and guidance to the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high performance culture.

• Identify issues and gaps in existing Human Resources processes, policies and procedures and draft or update existing documentation, as required.

• Lead and manage the delivery of 360 HR service to support the operations of NPE.

• Champion and implement a business partnering approach across Corporate Services.

• Drive and foster continuous improvement initiatives across Corporate Services.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with key business stakeholders.

• Participate as an effective member of the Senior Management Team and provide support to drive change management strategies that benefit NPE and its workforce.

• Manage and support the development of the Human Resources team.

• Lead the creation of, and help sustain, a culture of continuous improvement.

• Take a hands-on approach when developing relationships with key stakeholders.

Essential:

• Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role with strong experience in workplace relations with minimum 3-4 years’ experience.

• Excellent interpersonal, influential, and communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships.

• Ability to work with flexibility and initiative with limited direction or supervision.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Exceptional organisation and planning skills with strong adherence to deadlines

• Ability to manage a high-capacity workload and juggle competing priorities.

• Proven experience in building effective relationships with all key stakeholders and the ability to negotiate and influence collaboration to achieve business outcomes.

• Ability to travel Nationally as required.

• A high level of discretion and professionalism to act with integrity and always maintain confidentiality.

• A strong team player with a can-do attitude

• Proficient user of MS Office Packages including Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint and HRIS platforms
