A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a National ManagerCommercial Partnering, reporting to the Executive Manager Commercial Partnering, where you will join the Build pillar within our Networks Business Unit
A bit about your role
The role will partner with the Build delivery team and will be accountable for the end-to-end commercial Partnering across Build’s scope to enable effective and efficient delivery through external partners and suppliers.
Day to day, you will optimise commercial and delivery outcomes from existing contracts through provision of commercial analysis, advice, and direct negotiation with partners and suppliers.
This may include a review of the Delivery Partners (DP) performance against contractual KPIs, developing and formalising ‘get well’ plans with the DPs or using other commercial levers to improve the program performance.
Additionally, you will lead the Build commercial and procurement processes for the Build GM(s) for contract negotiations, annual price review, and implementation of commercial initiatives.
A bit about you
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate extensive experience in contract negotiation in a large organisation as well managing external partners such as a contractor or delivery partners. Your ability to be both highly analytical, and equally practical and pragmatic in solving business and commercial challenges, including demonstrated ability to comprehend and solve for complex requirements will also see you succeed in this role.
The role will directly manage senior internal and external relationships and as such requires an individual with demonstrated experience and ability to professionally engage with, present to, collaborate with, influence, and persuade stakeholders.
