You will have key responsibility in:
- Instilling a culture of safety through exemplary leadership, rigorous adherence to safety systems, and full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Playing a central role in crafting and implementing Tyrecycle's long-term business strategy, driving growth, and innovation on a national level.
- Identifying and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives, optimising operational efficiency, productivity, and exceptional quality.
- Setting and managing national plant performance standards, closely monitoring downtime and efficiency metrics to ensure peak performance.
- Nurturing and developing a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
About you:
- Proven experience in driving and leading change within a multi-site production management environment, ideally within the framework of Lean Manufacturing.
- A track record of successfully implementing Lean principles and driving operational excellence, with a keen eye for innovation and improvement.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, coupled with a commitment to safety and operational cost optimisation.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a relentless drive to challenge the status quo, pushing boundaries to achieve breakthrough results.
