About the role:
We are currently seeking an experienced National Account Manager with anaesthetic technician experience to join a highly dynamic, successful, and motivated team based in Mount Kuring-gai covering all of Australia. Reporting to the Business Unit Head, Infusion and Nutrition Systems, this role will require you to promote new and existing Medical Device products and consumables into the operating theatre and day surgery suites in public and private hospitals. The product portfolio would cover Depth of Anaesthesia monitoring, TCI/PCA syringe pumps and related consumables as well as cross promoting any relevant Transfusion Business Unit devices such as the CATSmart.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of key and strategic customer relationships
- Leading cross functional internal teams to configure complex and tailored customer service solutions
- Negotiating commercial agreements with the customers
- Working collaboratively with other departments to build strong customer relationships
- Customer prospecting, including developing relationship management plans for strategic potential accounts
- Maintaining Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Data
- Maintaining high level of operational compliance
- Assisting in other territories as required for evaluations and implementations of devices
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing sales for the Infusion and Nutrition Systems portfolio of operating theatre and day surgery suite products by managing existing major accounts, developing relationships, identifying opportunities, account management and continued expansion of our Infusion and Nutrition Devices portfolio within your territory.
This requires a hands-on approach across a wide area of accounts in multiple locations across Australia and may involve travel frequently to achieve sales and profit targets within the INS portfolio.
We have a team approach to sales and support so you may be required to assist in other territories or projects that encompass your product portfolio throughout Australia as required.
This role requires full knowledge of the portfolio and its applications, along with a strong understanding of the customer's objectives and challenges.

What we are looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health related or business discipline
- Experience working in the Operating Theatre ideally as an anesthetic technician
- A minimum of 3-5 years medical devices sales experience in the public and private hospital environment
- Proven track record of sales growth into the healthcare system
- A team player with strong leadership and management skills
- Current Driver's Licence and the willingness to travel within your territory
