Position Overview:
As the National Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the operational performance of our 11 sites spread across Australia. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic senior leadership team, contributing to the company's ongoing growth and success in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the efficient and effective operation of all 11 manufacturing sites.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to drive consistency, productivity, and quality across all sites.
- Collaborate closely with site managers to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets for each location.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, encouraging feedback and ideas from site teams to drive operational excellence.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align operational objectives with overall business goals and strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies across all sites.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in senior operational management roles within the manufacturing industry.
- Extensive experience in overseeing operations on a national scale across multiple sites.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve performance targets and objectives.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement operational improvements to achieve business objectives.
- A commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in all aspects of operations.
Competitive salary in the region of $200,000 per annum plus Superannuation, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
